Back story...my SO and i do not live together currently. He moved into his sisters to save up for a deposit on a new apartment for two months so he and i can find a place together. I have a lease i cannot break for another couple months without paying a ton of money. We have been together living separately for a lil over two years now and im 26 weeks pregnant~

Weve been having casual dinners over at his sisters for a couple months now. Last weekend they said theyll be going out of town and my SO will be home alone to watch the animals while they are away.

He asked if i could stay the night one weekend while they were away. His sister said yes..his brother in law said no. They began to explain their reasoning...which boiled down to their religious beliefs.

They compared my relationship with that of gay couples..going on to say how they dont agree and think that is it wrong and sinful but who are they to judge?....

I respect different beliefs...though i do not share their opinions.....i cannot help but to feel extremely hurt and offended by their comments. In the beginning of our relationship they had no issues with us being together without being married but now that a baby is involved we are commiting sins...shouldnt sleep in the same bed and we need to get married and start going to church~

I just dont know how to be around them anymore?

Ive declined dinner invites and just cant get over these feelings of hurt. I disagree with their views. i accept everyone...i see no wrong in two people loving one another and being together..no matter if you are gay or straight...married or unmarried.

Am i wrong for feeling this way?
