My sister decided she was going to throw me a baby shower once she found out I was just going to do it myself. She has a very nice house and has recently gotten paranoid about have people (or more their kids) over at her house so she asked for no kids to be at the shower. I'm okay with that because I would rather have a baby shower full of adults than kids. I told my husband about this and he's worried about how his family (mostly his mom) is going to react to the no kids allowed thing. He then suggested maybe we should have two instead of one. His mom can be easily offended so now I'm worried she won't come and be mad at me and my husband for not allowing kids at MY baby shower. But I'm not throwing two parties just to appease his family when my sister is throwing it for me. I'm not going to throw myself another party just so my sister in laws and my mother in law to be happy and be the only people there OR a bunch of people who don't even know me. If they want to have a party their way.. Then they can throw it for me! But my sister was the one who stepped up to the plate so if she asks for no kids.. That's how my baby shower is going to be!
