Do anyone have Spd??

I just looked it up and I know I have it even though the Doc be blowing it off. A min ago I couldn't get my right leg in the bed because it hurt so bad so my soon to be husband had to help me. And it's so uncomfortable to turn over and put a pillow between my legs. If Anyone has this what do you take for pain relief ??

We are pretty sure I have it, but there's really nothing that you can do. I take Tylenol and roll/bounce on a yoga ball and that helps temporarily. But proper relief won't come until after baby is born.

There IS something you can do, and don't let a dr tell you otherwise!! I have had it since 22 weeks, and my physical therapist uses a muscle energy technique to realign my pelvic joints. IMMEDIATE RELIEF! It is maybe sore for a day afterwards, but the sharp pain with every step is gone. She has had to do it 3 times since then when they get back out of alignment and has taught me exercises to strengthen the surrounding muscles to help the joints stabilize and stay in place. Don't just live with the horrible pain! Like I said, my SI/pubic symphysis joints are still achey at times but that is nothing compared to the pain of SPD!

I've been suffering with this since 16 weeks I'm now 37+2 they advices me to wear a belly support but it didn't help at all. Just resting seems to help. I struggle bending/ walking up stairs,turning over, walking, pretty much every movement is excruciating

I have been suffering with severe spd since week 13 in this pregnancy. I take codeine and paracetamol so I can have an 'OK' nights sleep. I have excercises from the phsio therapist to do whilst sitting on a gym ball. Sleep propped up with pillows one I between my legs 1 either side propping my hips up, and a pregnancy pillow to support my back. You have to know your limits. Don't lift anything heavy try not to bend down too much etc etc. It's hard work some days and I have to use crutches to walk.

I saw a chiropractor for mine and it worked wonders!  I'd definitely recommend it

Depending on exactly how far along you are, you may have it or it may just be normal for how far along you are.
