What's that smell????

HEY guys! So is there a reason why you're vag can smell "off"? I'm not on my period (I just ended it like a day ago) I'm not sexually active right now. I shower like everyday. So why did I smell something icky down there? I'm nervous because I can't think of a reason why! Maybe because it's getting hot and I'm sweating in different places? Not sure! :/

Could be an infection. If it is a fishy odor it could be Bacterial Vaginosis. If the smell is still there after showering and present for a couple days I would call your doc! :) It could be that your balance is off due to just ending your cycle as well! Hope that helps! I've been in women's health 8 years and we get this question a lot! Sometimes with BV you can get a thin, watery discharge as well that may or may not be noticeable.

Do you wash with soap down there? It could be that. Make sure you're only cleaning with warm water. Anything else can throw off the PH and give it a not so nice smell

Try washing your lady parts with nothing but water while in the shower or Summer's Eve. Anything else can throw your PH off and cause odd smells.
