Omg this heartburn what helps?!

I'm 36 weeks and I can't take this anymore 😭😭😭😭 nothing helps it's this constant searing pain in my chest I can hardly sleep because as soon as I lay down it gets worse. Tums stopped working months ago so now I'm taking Zantac but it's providing no relief tonight I'm seriously miserable.....
What works for you guys? I'll try anything at this point

Pantaloc is a miracle worker. Make sure you avoid spicy food, anything acidic ( oranges/ oj), caffeine anything with caffeine in it ( chocolate, tea) anything with a lot of sugar. Pretty much only eat diary & grains when it's really bad. Prop yourself up with pillows so you are slightly reclined.

I am almost 35 weeks and the doc put me on a prescription called famotadine. Its great and works well but the fall out is that its like benadryl and it makes me wanna sleep continuously. Maybe ask your doc about it hun, i was goin thru the same thing to the point where i was waking up gasping for air because of the acid coming up out of my throat couldnt even puke tho. Hurt so bad! Hope you find something to help! Good luck!

Tums. pickles. My doctor told be to eat mustard, I hate mustard and just thinking about it made me gag. good luck! stay away from tomato sauces and even pizza.

Pepcid has been my lifesaver. Some nights it's still rough and I will need a couple tums as a crutch, but usually only when I'm laying on my back. Hope you find some relief soon!
