My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a year now. We have our first fertility appointment June 17th. A couple of months ago I went to dinner with a good friend of mine who has a not so good marriage. Her husband has cheated several times and is all around a crappy husband. I briefly mentioned our ttc struggles & she told me that her husband wasn't ready (he probably never will be) and that she had begun flushing her BC pills down the toilet and hoping she'd fall pregnant. I was so annoyed but i just laughed it off. Yesterday, my husband took me to see a movie & when we got out I had a text saying to call her, she had an emergency. Assuming she needed medical advice for her dogs as usual, I called right away.
