Sore swollen throat, what is safe and what can I do!?

Woke up and couldn't even go to work today it hurts so bad. Any suggestions what I can do, I'm 6 months along as of now. Thanks mom's and future moms! =) ♡

If your very sick, have an infection.  Your Healthcare provider will prescribe an antibiotic for you.  I was so anti medication until I landed in the hospital and I was given iv cipro, macrobid after, and then amoxicillin for strep.  All are perfectly safe for baby.

My Healthcare provider also gave me a list of over the counter medications that are safe for baby and me along with the max length of time I should take them. Call up your OB and ask.

I was instructed not to use any medication, not even halls. Instead I had to gargle warm salt water twice a day and drink honey and lemon tea.
