When to start

I'm a first time mom and it seems I am in full blown nesting stage, I've washed all my sons items cleared out his room and organizing everything over and over. Lol. Now wondering when I should pack the hospital bags and install the car seat or at least the base. My husband thinks I'm crazy for wanting to do it now because we aren't do until july 12th.

I packed baby's bag at 37 weeks and made a list for my hospital bag. We installed the car seat base yesterday (37+3). If it makes you feel better to have it done then go for it.

I'm 32 weeks and have car seat in and baby bag packed.. Not ours yet. Not done with her room either. But I do have stuff ready so we could easily take her home from the hospital without concern

My poor husband has been put through the ringer since 26 weeks. He cleared out the baby's room which was his office installed all his furniture then we just had my baby shower this past Saturday and he installed the car seat put the stroller in the car set up his swing his bouncy chair and his bath tub with all his bath supplies. He also shampoo washed the carpet and washed the walls before he painted. There's nothing wrong with starting early !! I'm due the 26th of July but because of my lovely cervix he can come anytime from now till then. He washed all his clothes and put them away and now he's still decorating for our little man!

If it makes you happy then do it! I love the fact that I'm ready for him to come at anytime I don't deal well with last minute things so this was a blessing ❤️

Your making me feel way behind schedule lol. I have been wanting to put that car seat in for quite a while but my husband says it's too early 😒. I hate doing things last minute. Your good girl what ever yo at to do just do it !!

I'm due July 9th and I've already installed the car seat base. It felt good to have something done. I'm waiting on packing the hospital bag because I'm not taking much and I use most of it daily. I'll probably do it at 37 weeks. I made a list though so I can just throw it all together last minute if need be or if I need someone else to.
