When to take baby out of the house?

How long should I wait before I take my baby out of the house (aside from doctors visits)? I'm not talking about highly populated areas like church. But I would like to take her to see her dad at work (there are only three people in his office including him). She will be two weeks old tomorrow.

I've taken my 3 week old out quite a few times. The only thing I'd say to keep in mind is obviously no sick people, but also keep in mind how much sleep your baby needs. My baby had a couple "big days" and he was pretty cranky cause he didn't get the sleep he needed.

You should be fine to do that now if there were no complications after birth. :)

It's nothing wrong with the baby but most people wait until cord come off

I tried so hard not to but being a single mom we went out in public after 2 weeks. I just didn't let anyone touch him and I came home and washed everything and gave him and I both a bath. Which I kinda still do. Lol
