So it is a good thing I had my glucose test scheduled this morning, so therefore I already had off work. Have had a few sore teeth over the holiday weekend...chalked it up to pregnancy making gums sore. Went to sleep last night at 9:30...woke up at 11:00 with a tooth throbbing, and literally slept only for 15-20 minutes intervals about 3 times last night. Went to my dentist this morning. She wanted to redo a filling and see if it helped, and if not, send me for a root canal.

After 3 numbing shots that didn't work to numb that particular tooth, but numbed everything around it, I now have antibiotics, and Hydrocodone (which I hate to take pregnant, and which doesn't work well for me anyway. I prefer Ibuprofen but can't have it.)

Antibiotics should work in a few days to ease pain...if not, I have to make root canal appt (which I would prefer to another filling, bc once the nerve is dead no more pain!)

Other than heating pad on my mouth, does anybody have any advice for how to deal with the pain? I really need to go back to work tomorrow, and the one pain tablet that I broke down and took isn't really helping anyway!
