3 days late and LH surge is finally postive, is this normal?

I've been testing since my last AF and all of the strips for LH surge where negative then today I'm 3 days late for my AF and my LH has been postive since last night at 11 and again this morning. Is this normal?! My period is always late a few days I'm just confused more then before...

I got my LH surge on CD35. It was in December and we had been traveling and very busy with Christmas and New Years. I think the hustle and bustle delayed my ovulation. It happens. Anyway. We conceived that cycle and are 22w3d. Good luck!
