Should I pay for a 7 week scan?

Has anyone gone privately in UK for a 7 week scan? This would be private and Iv been quoted £99. I would like to put my mind at rest as I had an early m/c last year at 5 weeks. What are your thoughts ladies?

I had a missed mc last year - had lots of scans (I work in a hospital so the early pregnant unit didn't mind) and found out at 7 weeks the baby was only measuring at 5 weeks. To be honest having the scans early made me more anxious! Think this time I will just wait until my NHS 12 weeks scan. At the end of the day, if anything goes wrong, you will know! Even having a scan at 7 weeks doesn't mean everything will go to plan. Things can go wrong at any stage of pregnancy.  So I would just enjoy it and wait and see what happens x

Hey hun. I have private clinic near me they charge £40 it's just a reassurance scan. I am going to just have my 12 week this time. I didn't have a early scan with my daughter but did with the baby I MC it didn't reassure me it actually made me more nervous as it measured 1 week 5 days behind what I thought I was. So this time I am just going to hang on. I'm more confident this time so feel better about waiting xx when you due?xx

I'm thinking I may go for the 7 week, there's a clinic near me that charges £50. It's my first and I'm so anxious to see if everything is progressing as normal!
