Has anyone experienced preeclampsia during pregnancy?

I was diagnosed. Only way the knew was from extreme swelling, and then a strong pain under my left upper rib cage (liver shutting down)that brought me into L&D at 36 weeks.
Was preeclamptic, then unfortunately turned into HELLP syndrome which was pretty nasty. After 12 hours labor didn't progress and baby was stressed so we did an emergency C section. 
Recovery was ok except for having very high BP for a week after labor.

All is well now for both of us at 6 weeks!

One good thing is that they monitor you very closely. I use Kaiser. I was going to NST for 4-5 months 2x a week of my pregnancy. My BP got up to 175/110. Scary!

Suffered with Hyperemesis gravidarium entire pregnancy...which f sucked. Then was induced at 38 weeks due to high BP & preclampsia. I was put on high dosage of magnesium before & during labor..felt super out of it and drugged up! They kept me & baby at hospital for a week after I gave birth so I didn't have a seizure!

I had high blood pressure only during labor and also afterwards. They put me on magnesium after birth and meds for a week. It's weird because my bp was perfect all throughout pregnancy except for the end.

I was induced at 38 weeks due to genastational hypertension to prevent preeclampsia (didn't work), other than a high BP reading my hands, feet, face, and nose where all incredibly swollen. After having my son my BP remained sky high it increased actually, and so I was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia. Because of my diagnosis I was stuck in the hospital a  week with my healthy baby while they tried to figure out how to get my BP down. First i was given labetalol after that failed they upped the dosage twice then I was rushed back to labor and delivery to be given magnesium (felt like I got hit by a train), another BP med, and fluids by IV for 24 hours that did the trick but couldn't keep it low forever so they gave me a high dosage of labetalol again when that didn't work they tried Adalat which finally did the trick. It was a horrible experience but I would do it all over again for my sweet little guy who is now 2 months.

I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia and delivered my twins at 34 weeks exactly. I didn't even know I had it. All I knew was that my feet were always super swollen and they never got better. I just went in for a regular ob appt, and got a very high blood pressure reading and was sent to be monitored in labor and delivery( this happened multiple times) The last time my blood pressure didn't come back down so they transferred me to a hospital with a nicu, and decided to deliver the following day. They put me on magnesium to prevent seizures. That was the worst part of the whole labor and delivery. It made me feel horrible. Like my head was in a cloud and I was always tired. It made my whole body so swollen as well.

O wow. My first child is now 7. I had it with her and was induced due to my blood pressure not coming down at 37 weeks. Now I am 20 weeks with my 4th baby and I think it is starting to show its ugly face again. I didn't have it with my other two pregnancies but I am feeling horrible with this baby. I want to the doctor it was 148/78 so my top number has to be watched.
