When baby is consider full term? 36 weeks or 37 weeks..

Baby is considered full term at 37 in Australia, but the baby goes thru a huge change between 37-40 wks so ppl really should stop trying to induce as soon as they get to 37!! Mine was born one day before 40 wks :)

My OB told me used to be 37 weeks, but they just recently changed it to 39 weeks.

Well 36 weeks is called early term but baby has a good chance of no complications. But 37-38 is mid term and 39 and up is considered full term

Last I was told it is now 39 weeks... 9 years ago it was like 37 or 38 weeks... Granted I've never made it that far... So my kids are considered premature... At 36w4d (2007), 36w2d (2012)... And I'm currently 35w5d... And beyond miserable showing different signs of labor... So waiting to see if I need to go into L&D tonight... But trying to wait cuz waking a 8 and 4 year old up doesn't really sound all that fun, so I want to be sure first... Lol
