So, today my 6 year old niece and I were talking about women breastfeeding because I was watching a documentary on the topic and she loves babies and everything about them. So, as we're watching this documentary she turns to me and says "lastnight I had a dream that I killed a crying baby and thought 'I can't take it anymore'". I find it very strange that she's have such a dream. She has dealt with abuse from her father in the past form like birth to about 3. (He's an addict, been in and out of jail, has been physically and emotionally abusive). I've studied child abuse for 2 years and this stumps me. I'm wondering what it may symbolize. Any ideas?
