Lake or no lake ?

My husband and I want to go to the lake (mainly for our daughter who loves it) but he's afraid of the zika virus ... So I asked my doctor and he said just use bug spray and I'll be fine but my hubby is still iffy on me going . Any suggestions

If you're in the U.S. you don't have anything to worry about. There are no infected bugs here.

Bug spray just to be on the safe side, but so far our mosquitos aren't carrying the virus.

I'd bring bug spray. Unfortunately, there was one reported case in new Jersey but it's unclear whether she traveled or not (,I got distracted& didn't read far) just use big spray
