Doctors said we couldn't get pregnant - but they were wrong!

A year ago I had a huge endometrioma surgically removed from my abdomen, they also removed my right ovary. So I have a huge c-section scar but no baby..
My fiancé who is in the military had testicular cancer when he was young and had one removed, so we were both a bit worried how our odds would look in the future with having a family.
We decided to get checked - to see how out fertility was in general. We both had heard from our doctors that our separate conditions shouldn't be a problem in the future. Unfortunately about 2 months ago we found out we couldn't get pregnant the natural way. They recommended IVF and soon since my endometriosis now was affecting my other ovary.
The problem is my fiancé was just about to leave the country for a mission abroad with the military for 6 months. And both parties have to be home to be able to do IVF.
So that meant we couldn't get any help until next year...
They also wanted me to start on a medication that would put me in medical menopause, to try and preserve my remaining eggs and stop the endometriosis.
It was looking very dark and my fiancée was soon leaving, a week before he left I realised I was late... And so we took a pregnancy test
I am pregnant! 7 weeks and going for my first ultrasound today.. He is abroad and will miss almost my entire pregnancy! We are confused, happy and just overwhelmed.
I just hope everything is ok on the ultrasound today... This is a miracle. Wish me luck!!!
