Is Baby Hair Pulling Normal?

My son (3 months) frequently pulls on his hair , but he ALWAYS does it during a feeding, I'm afraid he will pull his hair out before we take family pictures.

My daughter does the same thing. She fluffs the hair behind her ears and grabs and pulls to fall asleep. It seems comforting to her. She'll also do it while having a bottle or just sitting by herself in her swing. I've been told it's them discovering their bodies.

My daughter does that as well the doctor said its no big deal. She does it when she cries tho.
