Is it ok for a 30 year old man to share a room with his 22 year old half sister?

Just some additional information, the room is pretty small and their beds are side by side, about a foot apart.

I mean I'd room with my step brothers,  any of them, and have no issues with it. We're homies. I'm not sure why this is a big deal.

First of all I don't allow my children to share a room if they are opposite sex 
..that's ridiculous and very inappropriate.  They grow people... Why do they have 2 share?

I don't see it as an issue, they are family. It doesn't matter how you old they are, I say that because if they were 5 no one would think anything of it. 
They have seperate beds and they are brother and sister. 
Me and my brothers has shared rooms on family holidays,  no different really x

I feel like we need more info. Is this a temporary living arrangement? Are they close in a weird way? Is he immature and just trying to mooch all he doesn't have to pay for his own place?

I mean both people def need their own space, but I wouldn't say it's weird just with the information given

It's their business ... but I wouldn't date either of them without asking careful questions. 
I think if you're a lover, you have the right to "get to the bottom" of what's going on, otherwise not. (And even then it might still be ok, but probably not in your case, as you're clearly weirded out.)
If you're a good friend, you could still ask what the deal is, out of curiosity. The answer might be interesting, if they choose to enlighten you.
