Too soon to breastfeed?

I had a corona about an hour ago at dinner. How long should I wait to breastfeed?

The general loose rule is "if you are safe to drive, you're safe to feed". You're fine to feed baby.

Same as blood alcohol content. Your breastmilk likely has a very small percentage of alcohol in it that likely will not affect your baby. Especially after one light beer like a Corona. I wouldn't worry about it!

You can nurse at any time!! The concern is more being too inebriated to hold baby as opposed to the amount of alcohol in your milk. Barely any gets in and it cycles out quickly.

It's probably best to think it of as OK to have 1-2 drinks either while feeding (too soon to process in the current feeding) or just after so you'll be fine by the next feeding. Drinking anything beyond that and I'd use stored milk to feed.
