What's it like for your water to break naturally?

With my first baby I was induced at 39 weeks and 4 days. My doctor broke my water super early in the morning, and I was in hospital bed. I'm curious as to whether or not this baby will come on his own. I really want him to, but I'm nervous about my water breaking in a random place! So where were you when your water broke? First or second baby? How far along?

Im on #4.  #2, my water broke and it was a trickle.. couldn't tell if it was my bladder or water breaking, #4... pretty much like you see in a movie, middle of the store, large gush of water on the floor, very obvious it was my waters. Several gushes afterwards too. Warm, gross, and exciting. Lol

At home sleeping thought I peed myself I got up wiped myself changed went back to bed happened again thought I peed myself again got up wiped changed third time I'm changing underwear fluid starts running down my leg and I was like are u kidding me it's midnight grr lol it's not bad at all I showered eat something before I went in because they starve u once ur admitted lol Ice chips pff wtf I want food 😂

With my 1st it broke at 3am in bed, I woke up cause I thought I was peeling the bed cause it was a trickle, I ran to the bathroom wondering how have lost bladder control!? Then I realized it was clear, odourless fluid. With my 2nd it was also 3am in bed, I was very restless that night, had a feeling something was up, I lay there awake and I simultaneously I felt a painless "pop" lightening feeling with a massive gush of warm fluid that soaked the bed... No questioning that one!

Thought I might be losing my mucus plug, so I put a pad in my underwear and laid back down as my boyfriend was about to go to work that morning. As I stood up to go eat breakfast, it just went pouring down my legs. I definitely didn't mistake it for pee. It was so gross feeling to me. I laugh now, but still shudder a little. Glad I hadn't taken my shower yet!

My first I was already admitted at the hospital and it literally poured out like a waterfall. It ran off the bed and all over my husband's shoes 😂 I thought he was going to pass out, he went sheet white.

With my daughter i was 38weeks and had been admitted to the hospital. I wasn't dilating and they were about to send me home and my water broke on its own a few mins later. It just felt like i lost all control of my bladder and peed my pants. Hopefully with this little boy my water breaks on its own at the hospital again

I was at work, we had a chili cook off that day so I was sampling chili and like others had said I thought I was peeing myself. I quickly excused myself and headed across the building to the bathroom, leaking all the way. It actually took another female coworker seeing my wet pants to tell me it was my water and not pee before I grasped what was going on. That morning I felt great, one of my best pregnancy days I clearly recalled on the way to the hospital, I was 35w 3d.

I was at home in bed and felt a tremendous amount of pressure. I got off the bed and felt a stream of liquid. It's as if I was urinating onto the floor but I was unable to stop the flow and knew my water had broken. I was 38 weeks with second child.

With my daughter (1st baby) I woke up to my bag leaking at 6am at 1pm I went to the doctors and my bag broke as I sat down it was a gush of water and more leaking after with my son (2nd baby) I was induced and they broke it for me same thing gush and leaking after lol

For me it felt like a water balloon popped inside me. I was laying in bed and had already had contractions 5 mins apart and had been sent home from the hospital for false labor. My son kicked once and then a pop and then a lot of fluid. I screamed for my husband because I was afraid to move and didn't know if it was blood or my water. Scary moment but 7 hours later my little boy arrived and I had him all natural.
