Less appointments?

Question

Had anybody else who's on a second, third, fourth, etc. pregnancy noticed that your having less appointments? I feel like I've barely gone in this time around. I never thought I went in an excessive amount the first time, but this just seems so much less.

I have appointments every 2 weeks. I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow.

I'm always in an out it feels like, I have had a heap of blood tests 4 ultrasounds see him at least every 4 weeks seen him last wendsday having diabetes test today and see him next wendsday too but I'm high risk so guess that's why pregnancy number 4 baby number 2 can't wait to meet my little man xox

I'm a FTM but I haven't had nearly as many appointments as I thought I would have! In the beginning I had an ultrasound and no blood work done (I think they gave me a urine test but they never mentioned it lol) I went once a month after 11 weeks and didn't have any blood work done at all until I had my quad screening. Other than that and my gestational diabetes test I haven't had anything done besides my anatomy scan, doppler, and fundal height measured. I haven't had any pelvic exams or anything of the sort even! 
Now I am 31 weeks and have a growth scan in two weeks and won't be back to see my doctor until July 6th when I'll be 36 weeks! I guess it kind of counts since I'll have an ultrasound in between! But I'm grateful! I'm guessing it means I have a very low risk pregnancy!

You definately don't want any pelvic exams before you are close to delivery.  
I see you doctor every 4 -5 weeks till 32 weeks.  Although the big ultrasound counted as a visit even though I didn't see him. 
At 32 weeks it see him every two weeks. Then at 36 weeks it's one time a week.

31 wks. No PAP. One pelvic exam (when I went to L&D because I couldnt feel baby move). Two sonograms and Im still at 1 mo apart appointments. Im considered a no risk pregnancy, but this is my first and now that I had contractions at 28 wks and have been at 2 cm dilated since then, I really feel I should be seen more???

Yes. I also feel like I got checked more...only one pap and that's it so far. I will be 33 weeks when I start going every 2 weeks.

I don't think so. This is my 4th pregnancy with my 4th baby. I have twins who are 5, a son who is almost 3, a son coming in august, and a loss from 2011 after my twins. I found out this time around at 3 weeks 6 days, and I have been seeing mt Dr. since between 6 & 7 weeks. I saw him every 4 weeks up until 27 weeks now I see him every 2 weeks until 36 weeks and then it will be every week after that. I feel like it has always been the same.
