Mucus plug?

Can you start losing pieces of your mucus plug as early as 27 weeks? And if not what could this be?

I lost some of mine at 23 weeks over three days and was really worried. I'm 25 and a half weeks now and there doesn't seem to be any issues. It can regenerate, but to be safe you should call your doctor and see what they say about you since they have your medical history.

So happy you posted this! I have had this a couple times now seemingly after a BM. At first i was worried but no cramping no contractions at all so assuming its ok. :) Call your dr. Just to be sure.

Definitely mucous plug, call dr just to be safe

Looks like mucus plug to me. Doesn't necessarily mean that labor with start but I would contact your doctor.
