Last week I called in sick to work one day because my feet were so swollen I couldn't stand it, promised myself I wouldn't do it again and today I am calling in sick again for a two day migraine that just won't stop.

I you can, have your OB full out papers for on going FMLA so you don't point out. They won't be able to fire you on FMLA.

Take a few Tylenol it'll help your migraine and just elevate your feet and guzzle down water. Fill up the biggest cup you have. You HAVE to keep hydrated or both those things could keep reoccurring. Hope you start feeling better!!

I have been having a hard time feeling ok with calling out too! I work in a special education elementary school & am currently coteaching to cover a maternity leave. A few weeks ago I took two days off because I had a fever and was throwing up. I felt so bad! My coworkers kept saying I needed to take care of myself and the baby, but I still felt guilty.

When I hear other people talk about it it's so much easier to say just take the day, you need it. In all honesty you probably won't be much help at work today anyway, so what's the point of going? I hope you feel better!
