Arm implant or IUD?

I'm trying to decide which I should switch to because I recently moved in with my boyfriend so it's been difficult taking the pill on time and remembering every day. What do you love/hate about either one? Experiences? Anything helps😊

The arm implant has been one of the greatest things I've ever had. I had horrible periods before. Like I couldn't leave my house I bled so profusely plus the cramps. I had horrible cysts that would happen. And I have PCOS and had to be on metformin.

Then I got the implant. No more metformin. I rarely have periods. When I do they are light and easy. No more cysts.

It's extremely affective method of birth control. I've had a lot of unprotected sex since I've had it for over a year now. And no scares, at all.

I've lost weight. And overall I've had a great experience with it.

If you haven't had issues with pregestrin forms of BC, most likely you won't with this. It just takes about 3-6 months for your body to get used to it. So you may have weird irregular periods and spotting during that time. 
I just don't like IUDs because I'm scared of the possibilities of complications of it moving and such.

I love my implant. For the first few months I bled off and on, but it was very light bleeding. I have not had any problems with acne or drastic weight gain. The only thing I've noticed is that I can be moody sometimes but I can't tell if that's just me being a woman haha! I like it because it's pretty low risk and very effective. The IUD in my opinion is too invasive and risky. Good luck!

The implant made me gain 30 lbs in the first four months I had it, and I steadily gained like 2 lbs every month after that. And it destroyed my sex drive. I am so glad I had it taken out.
