My husband got a week of paternity leave and he has to go back to work tomorrow. Our daughter is 1 week old today and it has been amazing having him home to help. This is our first and he has surprised me with how great of a father he is. He's even a better husband now because he is a father. I'm getting very emotional about him going back to work tomorrow, even though my mom will be here to help me. It's just not the same, she doesn't know what my daughter likes, what she sounds like before she cries, etc. I'm also worried because we take turns getting up with her at night and I know he's going to be exhausted after working all day. I know this is typical and I am grateful for the time he has been home but I'm having a hard time coping with the fact that he won't be here Monday-Friday 8-5 😥 anyone else have this problem? And how did you cope?
