What happens after water breaks?

I was laughing so hard that I felt as if I peed a lot while standing. No contractions or bleeding or spotting.. anyone with experience.. what happens after ur water break ? How does ur body feel?

I just went to L&D for it last night and got tested it was negative. The nurse gave me a useful tip though. Go into the bathroom and pee and then dry your self completely off, then take a piece of toilet paper and put down there and cough, repeat this once more after peeing and drying off. If both times you had fluid then you water is more than likely broken.

Mine was leaking. I thought I peed. This happened a few times. I later found out it was my water when I got a strip test and had to be induced so I didn't get an infection from not having my water. You might want to go get checked. They just run a color changing strip down there to check for AF.

It just depends. Sometimes you have contractions. Sometimes you feel nothing, but you should still feel water leaking. If you were laughing a lot you probably just peed.

I had a leak and I felt no different than before. No contractions, nothing. My Dr told me it was probably  just pee but i insisted on them testing to sure, i was right, it was ambiotic fluid and i had to get induced. It's important to get tested because if you go more than a day with a leak you can run risk of infection.

If it's your water, it won't stop. If you were likely it's likely pee (if you are hydrated it won't always smell like pee). But your water will continue to leak no matter what you are doing.
