I'm 27 weeks I keep hearing the same thing. I say I'm in my third trimester now. I'm gonna be 28 wks Saturday

It starts beginning of your 28th week from what I've just been taught in class (I'm a midwifery student)

Technically it starts at 27 weeks and some odd days, but the doctor's office just rounds up because it's easier that way (or so I've been told by my mother in law, who is a nurse.)

I think the reason they say 28 is because you have to go through the whole week of being 27 weeks to be considered third trimester
