One Twin with Down Syndrome risk?

If you are pregnant with Twins can genetic testing pinpoint which Twin is likely to have Down's Syndrome?

Also: If so (one Twin has Down's but the other doesn't) can Doctors perform an abortion on one and leave the viable baby to go to term?? How dpes this work?

Btw I'm not in this situation! It's just a hypothetical question. I'm curious sorry if its an offensive question.

There would be too much risk to the other fetus if you tried aborting one. You could risk losing both. Down syndrome babies are a blessing and deserve life just as much.

I am sorry but..abort the twin with downs?! really?! yes they may have some health issues but they are normal children too!

They would have to do an amnio to determine which twin had Downs and YES you can abort one and not hurt the other.

With a blood test no they can not determine which one has downs and which one doesn't. They would have to do an amino or cvs sampling on each child. 
Don't know the answer to your second question as our twin passed in uterine with downs

I believe it's called selective reduction to abort just one. So yeah it's possible! I think they may have to be fraternal though.
