Did you have a shower for your third baby?

Some friends are wanting to throw me a shower for this baby but I feel a little awkward since I have a boy and girl already and had showers with both of them. I just feel like people might assume I should already have most of what I need...thoughts anyone?

You could do a "Fill the Freezer" shower where people bring casseroles and other food stuffs (rather than baby stuff) to make yourblife easier after baby is born.

My best friend had a baby shower for her 3rd (she already had a boy and a girl too) it was a high tea and she requested no presents.
All the guests ignored her and got presents anyway lol

In my honest opinion, this seems completely ridiculous to me. For those responding that you need more stuff, is a baby shower to celebrate the baby, or is it really just to get more stuff? Why not buy it on your own?

If you have friends and family that want to throw you a shower, let them!  It's not like you're asking for it or doing it yourself.

My third baby came 8 years after my 2nd and with my second husband. So yes I had one. I will have another with my 4th that is 5 years after my 3rd since I got rid of all my baby items years ago. This is a suprise blessing as my husband has sever fertility issues. We were not suppose to be able to get pregnant again.

Is throwing me a shower...I have an 8yr old girl and a 1 1/2 yr old boy....if I was having another boy I don't think I would be having another shower though maybe a diaper party

I am if I am having a girl. My daughter is 12 years old and my son is 10 months old...so if it's a girl I will need baby girl stuff but if it's a boy I'll have everything I need from my son.

IF we have a 3rd it will a tie breaker, so we may have a shower to celebrate the baby & if someone wants to bring a gift we will ask for diapers and wipes.
