Due date is on Sunday!!

Hannah
So I had a doctor's appointment today and due to severe hip pain and the baby measuring ahead of schedule I will be induced this Sunday instead of my due date being the 24th.. I thought I would have more time to prepare myself but it is what it is. I'm very sad I can't experience what it's like to naturally go into labor. I was induced with my first pregnancy as well due to pre-eclampsia. Any advice on how to handle the contraction pain? I've heard contractions caused by pitocin are worse than those of natural lador. I'm really wanting to stick to not getting an epidural. My first pregnancy I lasted 7 hours and then got the epidural because my body was overly tired due to a lack of sleep as well as stalled labor. Any advise on how to tolerate the contraction pains and get through it without an epidural would be great. I had issues with my back after having an epidural my first pregnancy and was in a car wreck and messed up my lower lumbar so I'd rather not do the epidural. Plus there are so many other benefits associated with natural birth. Thanks ladies
