When will you start sleeping on your left side?

Whenever I feel like sleeping on that side.
I sleep on left or right

I slept on my back for the first trimester but now if I lay on my back for more than a few minutes,some body part gets numb or I'll get a sharp. Pain somewhere ...it's horrible lol

I have to sleep on left side, right dude is just so I'm uncomfortable. I also sleep on my back and belly

I'm a huge tummy sleeper... I can't fall asleep any other way normally. With my last pregnancy I slept on my stomach most the time, I'd even find myself on my stomach up until the end (my tummy was smaller then).

This one is our first girl and WOW is she carrying differently!! I'm double the size I was with both my boys at this stage & still haven't gained weight. Lol. Perks of being petite I guess!

But I have a boppy body pillow I've been sleeping with since the first trimester, had to train myself to sleep on my side.

I'm trying to make it a habit now. I still wake up on my back but I'm getting to where I'm able to find comfortable positions on my left side so I'm hoping when I wake up on my back that I haven't been that way long!

It doesn't matter what side you sleep on which ever you feel comfy with do I sleep on both and my back and stomach doctor told me that it won't effect the baby anyway

I sleep on my side sometimes, but there are times when I just don't feel comfortable and can't get to sleep that way. I have a hip injury and pelvic girdle pain so I'll do whatever position I can get comfortable and sleep in - at the moment (17 weeks)  that's often on my back with pillows under my head and knees. I've been told that if being on my back causes a blood supply problem I'll feel it and naturally move.

I have read you should start trying to sleep on your side at 18 weeks but its more to get you use to sleeping that way and there is no need to freak out if you wake up on your back or whatever.

I personally always end up on my stomach lol so we shall see what happens when i get bigger
