My first date was at a cliff somewhere in Cali, my boyfriend (now hubby) and I were togeter for like 7 months by then, we know each other since our childhood but I moved to Germany when I was 10, moved back to Cali 6 years later to meet him and we started 'dating' a bit later and like we have always had a very hard relationship like we've been through so so so much especially emotionally and mentally and we just had so much more downs then ups but we had each other so it was alright there was always a person to hold on to and one night he picked me up after one of my best friends passed away because of an overdose and he got us alcohol and weed and pizza and we drove somewhere far away from our hometown and he was like 'this is our first date now so lets just talk about funny and nice stuff I dont wanna think about all that shit dude' and so we did and it was so amazing. 
Really one of the best nights ever, maybe because it was my first date, maybe because we had nothing and no one but each other and now we have everything and it was just so simple and amazing or because we're in such a better place now and I can call that the past.

It was a blind date, to a cafe, and the guy was hiding in the shadows near the entrance, ready to make a quick escape if he didn't like what he saw!!

Its one i'd never forget as i decided stupidly to get rather drunk and i fell up the curb broke my left arm in two places came out the hospital plastered up and fell down the curb and broke and broke my right arm in one place a nasty break needing to be pulled back. I laugh now about it but it wasnt funny at the time. Never lived it down 16 yrs later we still giggle about it.
