Breastfeeding moms on estrogen free BC?

Are any moms breastfeeding and taking BC? I want to EBF and my OB says that I have to take estrogen free birth control . Any good brands you moms can recommend ? I was unable to BF with my first due to low supply and feel like this time around will be successful (fingers crossed) and want to be completely mentally and emotionally prepared for myself and baby's sake .

Marina is safe while breastfeeding but I'm unsure if it has estrogen in it

You can use progesterone only or non-hormonal bc. I am on mirena (5yr hormonal IUD) and I love it. Other options include the mini pill, nexplanon (arm implant), paraguard(copper hormone free IUD), skyla (3yr Hormonal IUD), depo provera shot, and condoms.

I was on the depo shot after I had my first baby and EBF for 6 months and continued until he was 13 months, with my second baby I got the implanon implant and did the same. Never been on the pill, hope this helps.

I was told there's no estrogen free, but there are low hormone options. The Mirena and one of the pills were the only options I got. So I'm going with the pill. I start in two weeks and will still be able to continue breast feeding :)
