Misscarriage no 3 & copper coil

So I lost another baby, so that's number 3 now! Had such good vibes about the last one too. So we have been referred to a specialist for fertility and we have decided that we want to wait at least 6 months to try again. So I had had the copper coil fitted so I have no hormones running through my body. It's killing, she said I'd cramp fpr a couple of hours abd I have only had it fitted about 2.5 hours but has anyone had it done? How long will the pain last?? I can't cope if it lasts days on end I go back to work Monday abd I can't go back with this pain. Proper scared. Help please x
