Part of mucus plug?

I'm 35 weeks, today I had a cervix check and a few hours later, I lost some of my mucus plug. Could the cervix check could have caused it or encouraged it? Will I lose the rest of it or may it regenerate?

I would def take that up with your dr, I really don't remember losing my mucus plug or what it felt like but checking the cervix can make it do that I believe. You should be fine as long as your water doesn't break

Any time the cervix is touched it can happen. But you can lose some of your plug for weeks so don't worry that's not enough to cause any serious issues. Call your dr and just let him/her know. But it's normal.
