Rant!! :My husband got his background check back in an email and it says "not competitive" because of his misdemeanor marijuana charge last year. But he passed his drug test and every other test. Human resources for the company still hasn't decided yay or nay, but still. They hired a guy who got a felony possession charge last year and is still on probation. My husband paid his fine in full less than a week after the court date. Because he couldn't afford making monthly trips to the county it was in with it being a 250 mile trip. It's just so irritating. The Indian casino even said they'd hire him as a security guard with the misdemeanor charge, but he's not qualified to put things in boxes for fucking Wal-Mart?!? We just learned his charge in the county is Poss of CDS, marijuana. We've gone a whole fucking year with the paper that said poss of marijuana! Like are you kidding me?

Btw, the county is dirty. His cousin used to be a jailer and the cops were throwing bags of meth into cars and then "finding" them and charging people. He actually saw the video one cop had on his cell phone and deleted after bragging about it and showing it off. Like this county is known for being dirty and doing dirty things to get money. It's just upsetting that they gave us the paper that said poss of marijuana and had in their systems possession of CDS, marijuana.

Edit: my mind is obviously very scattered right now as it's been a crazy day. My husband doesn't smoke anymore and the only reason he was caught with what he had was because it was a tiny piece, smaller than the tip of your finger that he forgot was in his ibuprofen bottle and the cops found it when they decided to search the car. They then wrote down he had an ounce. I'm telling you, very dirty police work in that county.
