Just curious. ... but if you happen to give birth in your car or at home unexpectedly, what would you do? I saw a video where the mother flipped the baby over to get liquid out of the baby's mouth? 
I'm just preparing for all circumstances because my hospital is a long drive. .... lol

My cousin had hers almost in the toilet. She  called emergency and they walked her through what to do I.e. get off the toilet ASAP and go on the room floor with blankets. Also helpful with a second person. Then they'll send people to help you (hopefully in time before baby is pushed out!!)

My fear aswell. If at home or car I would call 911 to have whomever walk me through the proper safety steps until EMT's have arrived to assist me with the baby.

I've heard of this happening once when I was younger. The husband was driving to the hospital while his wife was delivering their baby. He called 911 and they told him to pull over and cut the umbilical cord with his shoelace. Then from there, the ambulance met them at their location and drove them to the hospital.
