Newly pregnant and spotting?

Hi girlies, just a bit of advice plz! I took a Clear Blue digital a few days ago, and said positive 1-2,, AF was due today according to Glow,, and started spotting today,, went to the chemist for a few more tests(maybe digital was faulty) but confirmed with these today,,, bit worried,, is this normal?? Tia for any replies xx

It is probably implantation bleeding, which is common. Typically dark brown spotting is just old blood, light pink is usually normal too. It is bright red blood that fills more than a pad an hour that would cause alarm. If you are concerned though and it would give you peace of mind, call your doctor. It is good to report any sporting anyway, even if the doctor isn't concerned. Congrats on your pregnancy!

Spotting is not normal but it's common. As long as it's not bright red with clots and severe abdominal pain then you're ok. Contact your OB or go to ER if you're really concerned.

I've had the exact thing happen to me too! I knew a few days before my period was due so I tested and it came up positive. On the day my period was due I had very light spotting - on and off and not enough there to be noticed other than when I got to the toilet and wipe #tmi. Have a look at something called break through bleeding - I feel that like me it won't be implantation but break through. I hope that helps x
