I noticed yesterday that when colostrum from my right nipple is expressed there is a pore that isn't leaking colostrum, instead it's leaking blood. It's not a lot but it's enough to notice that there's is something different going on. I nursed my 3 year old for 19 months and never had this. I'm currently 36+3 weeks. Can't really find much about this other than it could be something called rusty pipes syndrome, a popped blood vessel, or worse cancer. I'm going to tell my doctor this week but I'm wondering if anyone had this happen and what did their doctor say???
