Picking an OB

How did you pick an OB. My general dr has a practice and it was easiest for me to stick to an OB in that practice (they have all my info, medical history, etc). I had my first appointment today and didn't wait too long. The whole thing (transvaginal ultrasound, blood work, etc took roughly 45 minutes). The dr was friendly but brief and I forgot to ask all the questions I wanted to ask. My hubby wasn't sure how he felt about it. What's your opinion? How did you chose an OB?
