14 year old Sister Choosing Wrong Path
Last week, my 14 year old sister ended up in the hospital. She told my mother that she had fallen and her shoulder was hurting.
It wasn't until later, when she found out at the hospital that her shoulder was broken, that my sister finally admitted she had snuck out of the house to hang out with 2 of her boyfriends and they got in a really bad car accident.
Now she is home, she's working on healing. Suddenly, more and more is coming out.
She's been bullied at school. Being a people pleaser, she will do whatever it takes to make people like her. Certain boys have been standing up for her...in return for sexual favors. At least 5 times within the past few months.
She's 14, in a rebellious stage, she says she doesn't care if she becomes pregnant.
Guys, I ask for your prayers for my sister. This is NOT the sister I know! We were raised Christians. She knows that this kind of thing is not right.
I know a lot of you will say this is natural, that it's natural to be rebellious and have sex at 14. Or that "I did it and I turned out just fine!"
But this isn't the way my sister is.
Please pray that she chooses the right path, the path of success.
At this point, I'm happy she's alive. I'm happy the worse thing that has happened to her is a broken shoulder. It pains me to see that she's had to suffer so hard from her mistakes.
