Ewcm a week before my fertile week

Ok so my app told me i was fertile from the 9th to the 13th, but I had ewcm for the whole week before the 9th, then starting the 9th i started to have creamy cm that lead to wet cm all the way until now. So according to my cm I was not fertile during this last week but the whole week before that. With that being said. Hubby and i baby danced on the 5th which is when I had lots of ewcm...has anyone else gone through this? Meaning your app and your body told you 2 different things?
