I was due June 1 I was induced June 8th at 5am medicine went good they broke my water around 1:30pm at 4cm and it was alot it kept gushing out at different times after that I got the epidural (with my daughter it worked immediately) the doc pushed the button and squeeze the bag to help the med get to me and it didn't work by the time he went and got another med I was at 8 cm and it finally kicked in then I started feeling contractions again at 9 and a half cm and I kept pushin the button for the epidural and it wasn't helping. when I got to a 10 I didn't feel the need to push so they wanted me to do practice pushes and when I did my son's heart rate dropped dangerously low and they put me on my side and had me stop pushing and call the doc when he came he wanted me to try n push again so I got on my back and he put a heart monitor on my son's head and we tried pushing again and his heart rate dropped to the 40s the doc put me on my left side and it didn't help so he put me on my right and it slowly started to go back up (which my right side was the only side I could sleep on lol) so the doc said we needed to do a c section I was awake but it was an emergency contact section I was shaking from all the med and being scared . he did not want to come out the doc had to put his foot on my stomach to help with the pressure of getting him out and the surgery table had to be tilts and I had to have a wedge under me so my son's heart rate would stay up

my baby ended up being 9 lbs and 7 oz . I knew he was gonna be a big baby but my doc said he was measuring normal and the ultrasounds were measuring normal also but me and baby ended up fine he is beautiful and my observations department was amazing and my doc and the nurses were great I couldn't have got better treatment
