I guess im not out of the race yet

Af was due today, took a first response yesterday and it was negative...all day today I was cramping, but not even a drop of blood whatsoever... I'm really hoping af doesn't show and that this is my month!! Has anyone out there had this happen with a bfn and then a day later get atleast a faint line?
