Traveling for the holidays?

We've already decided to do Thanksgiving at our home with my family but are suppose to spend Xmas with my husbands family this year in Dallas. I'm very hesitant to do this. I'm due Oct 17th with out first baby. Traveling at the peek time of year with so many germs!!! We could fly the in laws out instead but of course my husband wants to go back and visit all his friends in Dallas. Thoughts? Will you be flying this holiday season?
