Am I the only one who's pelvic area is swollen??

I'm 37 weeks and the muscle around my mommy part is so swollen (and of course in pain). I don't see or hear anything about that tho..

I experienced this earlier in my 3rd tri, doc says it's normal just like swelling in your hands and feet is normal. He also said you can even get varicose veins down there which would make it even more uncomfortable. I couldn't sit a certain way for a few days but it eventually went down on it's own.
