Am I under thinking things?

Question

I don't have a hospital bag packed.. I don't have a diaper bag packed.. hell I haven't even gotten a diaper bag yet.. all we have is clothes & bassinet. 
I'm 29 weeks.. 
I was always told, wait til after your shower. Which I'm having 2 sometime in the next month or so.

I'm over 40 weeks and my bag is kinda packed.... No sheets on the bassinet etc.... So no worries

Just throw things in an old backpack if you're worried. Otherwise, you can wait until the day of, if need be lol. 
I think I packed the day before being induced at 39 weeks.

I haven't gotten anything out of the attic yet (we already have everything from our first two sons), but I did pack my bag yesterday at 32 weeks. With my first I didn't even bother until 37 weeks, and then only because I was delivering an hour away from home and wanted the bag to take when I went to doctors appointments. With my second I hadn't packed or prepped anything and my water broke in the middle of the night at 33 weeks, leaving me in the hospital with none of the things I wanted and trying to explain to my mom over the phone where to find them. This time I'd rather be safe than sorry. It's not like the bag takes up much space.
