Who else has to wait this long?

I found out I'm pregnant Sunday so I called my OB the next day and I don't get to see the dr til July 22nd. My LMP was May 12.

I have to wait until July 21st. They won't see you until your 8 to 10 weeks

lmp 5/12 .. First OB is June 27 & I'm assuming we'll do an ultrasound then too since they are in the office

Me too. LMP was May 12th, seeing OB on 7/14. Really anxious/excited.

My lmp was 5/10. My 1st dr appt is 7/13. He called today after reviewing my HCG levels saying for early pregnancy my numbers were good and wants to see me when I'm about 9 weeks. I had a miscarriage in April and have hypothyroidism but he didn't seem concerned. Of course if something comes up he will squeeze me in.

I believe they make you wait because half of the time people think they are farther along than they actually are and then if they do a ultrasound and your not as far as you say you are they might not see anything.

July 22nd is.my birthday! My last LMP was mar 13th and my first ultrasound and appointment is july 21st at 9 amd a half weeks. Far away :( the only way they will see me earlier is if I bleed.

That's pretty normal for a fair amount dr offices. Even for the ones who will see you early on all they will do is ask you when your last period was to get your due date, do their own pregnancy test there, and ask if you have any questions. It's usually a very short visit. For another pregnancy it was about 10-11 weeks when I was seen.

Mlp was may 17th and my first appointment isn't until August 11th. I woke up with bleeding so now I'm hoping to make it that far. I may get an earlier one now it ease my mind or move forward.

I went in at 6 weeks just for a nurse to tell me what foods and meds I can't take. They also drew blood but I didn't get results. My first appointment with the OB isn't until 9 weeks. It's normal because they can't see anything definitive on a scan until further along.

Who else has to wait this long?
