GBS: Group B Strep; tested 35-37 weeks with a swab.

My doctor told me to call labor and delivery as soon as water breaks or I start feeling consistent contractions regardless of how close they are together (5,10,15). Let them know your GBS+ and they will have you come in to start the IV drip. I live 45 minutes from my hospital so as soon as I know  I'm close or in labor I'm heading there to be safe.

I'd like to know if I was a carrier or not. But the uk don't test you for it. I can have it done for £30 but the turnaround time takes ages so I could've had baby by the time I get the result back

Anyone else nervous about getting to the hospital 4 hrs prior to delivering? This is my second and the hospital is 25 min away.
